This fun and engaging class is perfect for preschoolers who missed the kindergarten cutoff! It's an excellent way for little ones to explore more advanced literacy skills in a playful environment. We believe learning should be enjoyable, and we're here to foster your child's love of learning for a smooth transition to kindergarten. If your child turns five after September 2025 or has already completed Pre-K4 Learners classes, they are welcome to join the fun!

About the Class
Mini Learners is our brand-new afternoon literacy class at TFLC—perfect for preschoolers ages 3–5 who are ready for a little more after their morning preschool program!
Designed as the ideal after-preschool option, Mini Learners offers a joyful mix of hands-on learning and literacy-rich play. Each 90-minute class is centered on letter recognition and sounds, utilizing interactive centers and playful activities to help children establish a strong foundation in letter awareness. With only six children per class, every learner gets the focused attention they deserve.
These 6-week sessions are an excellent way to experience the heart of our year-long programs, without the full-year commitment. Think of it as a playful glimpse into the deeper literacy journey we take in our full-year classes.

No Payments Until August 1st For Full Year Families
We are pleased to offer flexible payment options for full-year families. You can choose between a pay-in-full option or a monthly payment plan. Monthly payments are divided into five or ten installments from August through May. Registration does not require any deposits.
Mini Learner classes collect full class payment during registration.

We limit our year-based classes to four students and six students in our Mini Learners sessions to provide a small learning environment with specific and individualized skills for each student. The added benefit of less classroom distraction provides an optimal learning environment for foundational literacy skills.
All students must be potty trained to attend our classes.
We understand the importance of flexibility in your child's learning journey. Most families choose to enroll their preschoolers in one class per week in addition to attending their local preschool. Just one weekly class will provide a strong literacy foundation before entering kindergarten.
It is important to note that our program is quite different. While we may seem similar to a traditional preschool, our classes have unique features that differ from a typical preschool classroom. For instance, our small class sizes allow us to provide individualized materials and one-to-one support to cater to each student's needs. We also focus on targeted literacy skills, which are repeated weekly, and engage children in playful yet educational activities to help foster a love of learning. All these elements work together to give your child a solid foundation to benefit them when they enter kindergarten.
